ASSET GUIDE

Game Box Art

Using the Photoshop/Affinity template to make individual game icons for each system.
Download Templates Here (Google Drive)

Important note on asset creation: In the final production build of iiSU, the frontend will be ingesting raw square boxarts, following a max resolution of 1024x1024. The border stylings will be applied automatically on the client. This means that in the iiSU app, the scraper will take un-styled boxarts (no border). The iiSU DB will have options for and promote uploading these basic square boxarts alongside pre-styled icons for use in other frontends. Console and collections however still must be made manually!

This folder is for the game template (as the name implies), and it contains two more folders: - Border Group (where you change the gradient color for the border and also put the icon you want for the top left) - Cover Group (where you replace the image with the one you want for the game)

Game Guide Folder Structure

As you can see, the border group contains a Fill Gradient Layer that you can edit by double clicking on it.

Editing Gradient Layer

After you're done with the gradient, you'll find an Icon Group, you can put any image or vector you want and fit it inside of the bounding box.

Icon Group Placement

If you hold Ctrl and click on the square at the side of the "Icon Group" folder you'll see the bounding box:

Anything else that goes outside of that box is hidden. You can use the ruler if you want to like, fit everything precisely, it should snap perfectly.

Using Rulers

Well, moving to the Cover Group, there's not much to explain here, you just replace the image inside of the folder with the one you want:

And resize it to fit.
